LEIGHA

Leigha is a first-year piercing apprentice at The Ink Room. She began piercing in January 2026, and from the beginning of her journey, fell in love with how something so small can completely transform someone’s confidence. Leigha’s all-time favourite piercings are curated ear projects and intentional placements meant to complement her client’s anatomy. She focuses on curating cohesive looks that suit facial features and feel balanced long-term. 

In an appointment with Leigha, she makes sure to be thorough and to never rush the process. Taking the time to go over placement options, jewelry choices, healing expectations, and aftercare, so that each client is informed and feeling confident about the process. Whether it is a client’s first piercing or their tenth, her intention is that all of her clients feel comfortable and involved. Leigha is especially mindful of nervous or first-time clients - making sure to check in with clients throughout the entire appointment. Her priority is for her clients not only to love their new piercing, but to feel empowered and well taken care of.

Outside of piercing, Leigha loves to curate her own ear stack and get lots of new tattoos - Partly why she loves being at the shop so much. She is naturally very detail-oriented, which carries into how she approaches placement and styling in her craft. She loves building relationships with the people who sit in her chair.
